Afterlife

A little photo session with Prima. Slowly starting to feel the Autumn mood, although it's hard to do when you live in Los Angeles.

I have'nt updated in a while, been finishing up art for some shows. Here's a sneak peek at some nesting dolls inspired by my calavera customs.

Friday night work

Sometimes I like to spend Friday nights at home working on my dolls :)

I finished adding the first layer of paint. Tomorrow I will add the second layer. I hope I don't mess it up. It would be a nightmare to have to sand all this color off. By the way I'm trying out a new technique with my Calaveras, I hope this experiment works.

Neptune

She's finally completed. Her name is Neptune and belongs to Gumdrops0000. Her hair style was inspired by Frida Kahlo. Her make up was done in shades of teal. She also has a bit of shimmer dust on her eyeshadow, although it was hard to photograph but it really sparkles in the sun :)

I was in a very flowery mood when I created this girl. I wanted her to look like she was wearing a crown of roses, a little different from my other dolls with their swirly designs. For the photo shoot I let her borrow a gray pullip wig and a flower head band so she wouldn't be so naked :)

She belongs to Blythgalaxy and she is my first commission completed for the year, YAY!
