Sewing

I'm getting reacquainted with sewing. It's been a while since I sewed anything and I'm a bit rusty. I really want to make a dress for the doll I'm currently working on. I'm using a vintage skipper pattern that I hope to alter a bit once I learn how to make it.

New Flower Eye Chips

They're like opals. My iPhone couldn't capture the greens and shimmery pinks in the flowers. LOL, and I just realized that the new flowers I used totally match the flower design around her eyes :)

Commission List Closed

Wow! I just sent out an update to everyone on my newsletter announcing that I had five spots available and they filled up so fast. I will however keep putting names down on my list in case a spot opens up and also possible commissions for next year :)

I found this awesome shop in Fullerton that carries a bunch of toy customizing supplies. I needed to restock badly. I'm still getting ready for next month.

gray and pink shades

I painted in her lips today. It was kind of difficult painting on top of pearlescent paint. I kind of messed up when I was adding the lines to her mouth and to compensate I painted the lips a bit different and ended up with this look, which I LOVE, because it's creepier :)

A bit of an experiment

Having fun with gray and pearlescent paint. This is not a commission, just spending a little time working on dolls that have been in pieces laying on my shelf.

I wanted to let everyone know I recently changed my email address because I've been having issues with my yahoo account. I lost a lot of email addresses from people who had contacted me about commissions. I'm really bummed right now because I had spent a lot of time organizing my emails to make sure I would be able to contact everyone on my list with updates :(
